My friend and former wedding client David did a business portrait with me other day in the lobby of his office. He only had about ten minutes so I knew it was going to be a super quick shoot. And to make it even shorter, he had to accompany me the entire time. And on top of that I was told that I couldn’t get any of the company’s logo in any of the shots, even though it was part of the design of the floor covering and in wall images all over the space.
That meant I had to find the shot, set up, take a few frames, and tear down. All in ten minutes. Without really using any of the surrounding space.
Despite the limitations, I was able to fire off about twenty-five frames and even get a couple of different poses. Below are my two favorites.
Think getting a business portrait would take too long or be too complicated? I bet we could do it in under ten minutes.
